Apology Kitchen

Apology Kitchen is now being submitted to film festivals worldwide. Based off a real incident that happened with my family that I wrote after a holiday break in Mobile, Alabama, it’s a deeply personal short starring Jen Richards (Her Story, Mrs. Fletcher, Mayfair Witches) and myself, and was produced by me with Lee Sacks and Justin Gaar through our production company, Suffering Fools.

This film marks the directorial debut of legendary casting director and intimacy coordinator Marci Liroff, whose 45-year career includes casting E.T., Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Blade Runner, Footloose, Mean Girls, and The Iron Giant.

We made this story with a lot of love, a little chaos, and a deep affection for the complicated, beautiful bonds of family.
