Apology Kitchen

I’m thrilled to share that my film, Apology Kitchen, is now being submitted to film festivals worldwide. It is based off a real incident that happened with my family that I wrote after a holiday break in Mobile, Alabama.

This deeply personal short stars Jen Richards (Her Story, Mrs. Fletcher, Mayfair Witches) and myself, and was produced with Lee Sacks and Justin Gaar through our production company, Suffering Fools.

Apology Kitchen marks the directorial debut of legendary casting director Marci Liroff, whose 45-year career includes casting E.T., Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Blade Runner, Footloose, Mean Girls, and The Iron Giant.

We made this story with a lot of love, a little chaos, and a deep affection for the complicated, beautiful bonds of family. The people who have known us the longest and who witness us changing through every stage of life.
